Sciatica or sciatic neuralgia is a commoncondition in which one of the spinal nerve roots of the sciatic nerve is compressed resultingin lower back, buttock and leg pain. Sciatic nerve is a large nerve derived from 5 spinalnerve roots: L4, L5, S1, S2 and S3. It runs from the lumbar spine through the buttockdown the leg and the foot on the posterior aspect. It also comes out. There's a zipperso if you need to wash it, if it get's dirty, you can and you don't risk messing up thefoam on the inside. It's got a little cutout here for your tailbone, or your coccyx, totake the pressure off of it when you're sitting. And then it has some groves here to keep yourhips in alignment when you're sitting. And it also helps distribute your weight on bothsides. So if you sit for a long time and you have pain and numbness when you're sitting,this will help distribute that and hopefully

So let's try it out. So when you put the cushion in the seat, makesure the cutout is in the back where your tailbone is. And make sure it's in the centerof the seat so you can have that level seating. The first thing that I notice when I sit onit is it actually puts me in an upright position which is very good.
